P6-M shabu seized in Rodriguez, Rizal

Photo courtesy of Marikina Police Police identified the suspect as Raona “Ate Rao” G. Ala, 37, of Rodriguez, Rizal. The identity of the rescued minor was withheld. According to a police report, undercover policemen transacted with Ala at her house located at Block 17, Lot 4, Phase 1, Eastwood Greenwood, Rodriguez, Rizal at around 4 p.m. Policemen immediately nabbed the suspect after she accepted the marked money in trade for shabu. Retrieved from Ala’s possession were nine sachets of suspected shabu and seven plastic bags also believed to be containing shabu. Marikina Police said they seized at least 860 grams of shabu which has an estimated amount of P5,848,000.

Four LTO 'fixers' nabbed in Marikina – Manila Bulletin

Published January 22, 2021, 6:57 PM Four alleged “fixers” at the satellite office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Marikina City were arrested by police on Friday. Police identified the suspects as Eduardo Distor, 54; Pablo Cernechez, 58; Jomar Atanante, 27; and Reynaldo Distor, 59. They were apprehended near the LTO-Marikina satellite office located on Ming Ramos Lane in Barangay Sto. Niño at around 11 a.m. According to a police report, the suspects were seen roaming the vicinity of the LTO satellite office offering faster transaction to LTO clients and acting as members of the agency’s help desk. “The personnel verified and validated their authority to transact as LTO agents but the suspects failed to present proof of identity,” police said.
