The latest is in from the Marietta Belpre health department as we start a new week. Currently in Washington County 2,280 cases have been confirmed, 114 are in the hospital and 33 deaths have been counted since the start. As of Friday, 876 active cases were being monitored.
Coming up Wednesday, the Mid-Ohio Valley Safety Councill will meet via Facebook live. Agent Gerald Ferguson from the Department of Public Safety, Ohio Investigative Unit will present COVID-19 Enforcement in the Workplace. This includes mask compliance measures, physical distancing and curfews. The live event will begin at 11am on Wednesday.
