Nick Stoner Seniors meet | News, Sports, Jobs

Apr 9, 2021 CAROGA LAKE The Nick Stoner Senior Citizens Club meeting of Tuesday was called to order by President Marylou Paterson. A prayer was read and “Our Father” was said by all. The Pledge of Allegiance was said while standing and then Hello Neighbor took place. Prior to the meeting, the seniors had a luncheon of sandwiches, chips and cookies. A moment of silence was taken in honor of Phil Jaros, the husband of Bonnie Jaros. The secretary’s report was read by Jan McLaughlin. The treasurer’s report was given by Shirley Holliday. Jean Griffin gave the hospitality report. The sunshine report was given by Marie Shoop. Holliday gave the membership report. Grace Eglin mentioned that Brown’s will not be doing trips other than the casino trip. Griffin and Paterson brought up the possibility of a day trip to the Town Line Museum in Johnstown.
