The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the 10th consecutive day, increasing 1.2 cents for the second consecutive day to $5.864.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $5.781, one day after decreasing three-tenths of a cent.
Gas prices decreased last month by about sixteen cents, but AAA says the combination of increased domestic demand as we near memorial day and summer vacation as well as increasing global oil prices could potentially drive prices back up to those record highs.
