The German Masters was exciting right up to the final round. Alexander Donchenko, Dennis Wagner and Rasmus Svane battled it out for victory in the open tournament, while the women’s Masters saw Dinara Wagner and Hanna Marie Klek fighting for firs place in a direct duel. At the beginning of November, there were plenty of opportunities to play chess in the south of Germany: The open tournaments in Deizisau and Baden-Baden gave committed chess players the chance to play 14 games in a total of eight tournament days.
