After more than 30 years in Redding, family restaurant and popular pie bakery Marie Callender s closed its doors permanently last weekend.
Now plans are in motion for Redding restaurant corporation J&A Foods to open a new eatery at the same location this fall.
Marie Callender s closed permanently on Sunday, according to J&A Foods vice president of operations Zach Sylvia.
