Fresh off of the Legislature passing several election “reforms” aimed at keeping control of the state in Republican hands, the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday upheld yet another pair off the state’s restrictive voter laws.
On a 6-3 vote, the court gave a thumbs up to two Arizona election laws – one that requires any ballot cast in the wrong precinct to be discarded even if the person was eligible to vote and another that makes it a crime for anyone other than a family member or caregiver to turn in another person’s early ballot.
