OWWA Caraga joins agency s 39th anniv celebration

BUTUAN CITY, May 7 - The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration - Regional Welfare Office Caraga (OWWA RWO Caraga), together with the other RWOs virtually participated in the simultaneous flag-raising and anniversary celebration via Zoom hosted by OWWA Central Office as OWWA marks its 39th founding anniversary.
In memory of the demise of some colleagues in the agency, a eucharistic mass was offered presided by Fr. Jorge Seldon Coronado of Sto. Rosario Parish Church, Butuan City, for the eternal repose of the soul of the late OWWA employees, and the families of fellow employees who passed away during this time of the pandemic. After the mass, the event featured the virtual message of Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac to officially commemorate the founding anniversary, wherein he expressed his appreciation to the OFWs for all their hard work and sacrifices over the years.
