Invictus Forever buys former Marian High property in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM A Weston-based nonprofit that serves children and adults with disabilities has acquired the former Marian High School property on Union Avenue. Invictus Forever Inc. says its goal is to help children and adults with disabilities become part of their community. In an interview, President Carolyn Langer said her experiences as the mother of an adult son with disabilities inspired her to start the organization. I was not happy with the lack of opportunities for full community integration for children and adults with disabilities, said Langer, who is also a senior vice president and chief medical officer at Fallon Health. We are hoping to create meaningful programming and provide services to enable these individuals to have greater opportunity for inclusion, so these individuals can have the opportunity to make a positive impact.
