SunStar File photo March 16, 2021 A TOTAL of 5,837 medical frontliners in Cagayan de Oro, both from the public and private hospitals and isolated facilities, got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccines allocated for the city as of March 15. According to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery, the Department of Health (DOH)-Northern Mindanao has allocated a total of 5,893 doses of the Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines to Cagayan de Oro City. The 5,893 vaccinated individuals are composed of the frontline healthcare workers from the Cagayan de Oro Medical Center, Capitol University Medical Center, JR Borja General Hospital, Madonna and Child Hospital, Maria Reyna Xavier University Hospital, Northern Mindanao Medical Center, Polymedic Medical Plaza, Evangelista Station Hospital, Sabal Hospital, and the city s temporary treatment and monitoring facilities and isolation units.
