Galvez kicks off AstraZeneca vaccination drive in Parañaque hospital Published March 6, 2021 12:07pm Updated March 6, 2021 12:50pm Vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. on Saturday kick-started the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines developed by AstraZeneca in Parañaque City. Galvez visited the Ospital ng Parañaque District 2, the first hospital in the Philippines to use the AstraZeneca vaccines, to witness the vaccination drive. Department of Health-National Capital Region (DOH-NCR) Assistant Director Maria Paz Corrales said that 200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were given to the Ospital ng Parañaque District 2, according to a report by dzBB’s Luisito Santos. At least 50 senior health workers in the said hospital are targeted to be vaccinated on Saturday, March 6.
