The Wagner College women’s lacrosse program led by four with 12 minutes left in regulation, but a furious rally by Mount St. Mary’s tied the game before the Mountaineers won the 2021 Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament Championship in overtime last Saturday, 9-8, in Emmitsburg, Md.
It denied the Seahawks a third straight conference title

EMMITSBURG, Md. For a record-setting seventh straight season, the Wagner women’s lacrosse team will play for the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship.
The second-seeded Seahawks will face off with the top-seeded Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers Saturday at 1 p.m. for a spot in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
The game will air live on ESPN3 and NECFrontRow.
