CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â A third day of Nueces County COVID-19 vaccinations will not happen as originally planned.
Health officials say all 4,000 doses they received have been distributed.
Lines began forming early yesterday morning, hours before the event at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds opened.
But their wait definitely paid off.
Officials told us around 2,000 vaccines were distributed to people at the vaccination hub finishing up the 4,000 total vaccines received on Monday.
With thousands of people now half-vaccinated against COVID-19, some say they have questions about the second dose.
If nothing changes, Public Health Director Annette Rodriguez says the federal government assures her those second doses will be here when the necessary waiting period between the two shots is over.
