a shameful statement There were three articles and three photos of Texas electors convening in the Texas House Chamber. All 38 of Texas electoral votes were cast for President Donald Trump. Business as usual, as conducted every four years. However, as is painfully obvious, 2020 is anything but a normal year. Unsurprisingly, none of the six electors whose faces can be seen are wearing a mask. Guess that would be unTrumpian. And a resolution was adopted slamming the U.S. Supreme Court for throwing out Attorney General Ken Paxton’s feckless lawsuit that sought to have election results in four other states thrown out, and urging the state legislatures of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia and Michigan to set aside the election results and appoint their own electors.
