The report states, officers were called to the home in reference to domestic violence.
Upon arrival, police met with the victim, Margo Sanders who told officers her boyfriend Shedrick L. Moore, 38, Hopkinsville, grabbed her by the neck, choked her and pushed her against the fireplace in the home.
Sanders complained of neck pain and reportedly had marks on her neck consistent with strangulation, the report added.
Moore was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and second-degree strangulation.
