The CCP Encyclopedia of Philippine Art (EPAD) is now accessible via epa.culturalcenter.gov.ph
The book first came out in 1994 followed by an updated version in 2018 with 12 volumes. CCP and the encyclopediaâs editorial board, however, had to think of new strategies and content for the Filipino youth and the worldwide audience, most of whom are almost always online.
EPAD, as the digital edition is called, follows the 2018 printed version, with added and updated entries, especially in the major works and major artists sections.
It is considered a new milestone in showcasing Philippine art and culture, giving a much wider audience more affordable subscription rates, starting at P75 for a month.
