NORTHFIELD – When Marge Anderson lived in Connecticut, it wasn’t uncommon to see residents organizing diorama contests using Peeps marshmallow candies.Now, the Deerfield Valley Art Association president is bringing a contest to Northfield’s recently.
NORTHFIELD Some of the community’s youngest artists have had the opportunity to see their work featured in a formal exhibit. “It’s not often that young children get a chance to show in a real gallery,” said Marge Anderson, president of the Deerfield.

It was in 1991 when I joined Lyle Berman’s Grand Casinos in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At that time the company had not yet gone public and was being funded by a loan from the personal bankroll of Mr Berman.

The cranberry pudding everyone remembers was more akin to a cake than a custard. It was topped with an incredibly sweet, buttery sauce that was balanced by the mouth-puckering cranberries strewn throughout the moist crumb of the pudding.
