Aurora man charged with reckless homicide, DUI after one killed in crash Gustavo Gutierrez-Aguilar Updated 12/15/2020 5:29 PM A 35-year-old Aurora man has been charged with reckless homicide after a crash Sunday killed a passenger in his vehicle. Gustavo Gutierrez-Aguilar, of the 0-100 block of Margarets Lane, was drunk when he lost control of his car and struck a tree at Mountain Street and Austin Avenue, Aurora police said in a news release. The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. Police say they found Gutierrez-Aguilar outside the vehicle. He was having trouble walking and maintaining his balance, and an officer could smell alcohol on his breath, police said.
