The folks at Fairhope Brewing Co. have been pondering the lack of public Mardi Gras celebrations this year, and that apparently involved asking some deep questions. Such as, is it even Mardi Gras if you can’t get a funnel cake?
Now there’s a funnel cake-inspired beer that you can take home with you, plus a couple other flavors in what the brewery is calling “Mardi Gras to Go.” The new offerings, which will be available on a to-go basis starting Friday:
Virtual Funnel Cake, an American wheat ale with hints of vanilla that “will make you feel like you’re at that corner stand and passed on chicken on a stick to go straight to the sweet treat. But this year, you did that virtually.”
