Holly Springs' boys basketball team, the 5-seed in the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 4A east playoffs, proved to be too lengthy for top-seeded New Hanover. The Golden Hawks won the fourth round matchup by a score of 74-61 and will play in Saturday's 4A East regional final. There, they will have a chance to reach the state championship game.
