Two Texas Top 10 fugitives captured

AUSTIN – In the last week, authorities have captured two of Texas’ Top 10 fugitives.
Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Marcus Lee Torres was arrested on May 7, in Snyder, while Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Eric Munoz was captured on May 4 in Donna, during Operation Lone Star, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Torres, 39, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender List on April 1, 2021. He was arrested on May 7 following a citizen’s call of a suspicious person in Snyder. Snyder Police Officers apprehended Torres on a residential street following a short foot pursuit.

Crime Stoppers rewards will not be paid in either case.
Two of Texas Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives Arrested
AUSTIN, TX The Department of Public Safety has confirmed two fugitives on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted List have been captured.
According to DPS, the two men were arrested during the first week of May.
The first suspect, identified as 33-year-old Eric Munoz was arrested in Donna, TX during Operation Lone Star.
Munoz is connected to the Tango Blast Valluco gang was part of the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list. According to law enforcement, Munoz was in prison back in 2017.
He was placed on parole and had been wanted since October of 2020 for a violation. He had been previously convicted of multiple criminal offenses, including unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A convicted sex offender who is on the Texas Department of Public Safetyâs Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list has ties to Amarillo.
Marcus Lee Torres, 39, is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and a parole violation.
He has been wanted since January 2020 when he violated his parole by not showing up to meet his parole officer and absconding from his last known address in Amarillo.
Rewards offered for sex offenders on 10 Most Wanted list

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added two fugitives to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, and cash rewards of up to $3,000 each are now being offered for information leading to their captures, according to a news release from the agency.
Marcus Lee Torres, 39, is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and a parole violation. Henry Anthony Taylor, 52, who is a high-risk sex offender, is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
