On Dec. 10, Ellen Degeneres announced that she tested positive for COVID-19, and the 62-year-old talk show host gave an update on how she’s feeling in a new video posted to Twitter.
“Thank you to all the well wishes out there. I appreciate it very much,” she said. “I am feeling 100%. I feel really good.”
While she’s happy to be recovering, Degeneres said one symptom in particular has been very unexpected. “One thing they don’t tell you is you get, somehow, excruciating back pain,” she said, adding that she “didn’t know” back pain could be a symptom of COVID-19. “Who knew? How come?”
