Ottawa theatres, gyms and restaurants welcome July 16 start for Step Three

Article content “We’re happy we were able to assist everyone during the time of need, and we’re looking forward to having our members and others in the community back involved with us. We’re happy to be here for everybody.” Mayfair Theatre co-owner Josh Stafford said he was excited by the accelerated reopening announcement, though it created some logistical challenges. “There’s a part of me that would have been happy if everything was delayed to the 23rd because it just means we have a whole bunch of work to do in the next seven days,” Stafford said, explaining that the Mayfair would need to get in touch with staff and reach out to popcorn and candy vendors, among others.
