Donald Tusk sued TVP, TAI [Television News Agency] director Jarosław Olechowski and Marcin Tulicki, a journalist, for the film ‘Nasz Człowiek w Warszawie” [“Our Man in Warsaw”]. The documentary presents facts and archived Tusk’s statements from the time, when he was in charge of the foreign policy as the prime minister. The politician did not like this. Contrary to facts presented in the documentary, he argues that he did not pursue a pro-Russian policy and the film should be removed from the Internet with an order of the court. The Civic Platform chairperson furthermore demands apologies and a fine to be paid by the respondents. “I understand that this film may be inconvenient for Tusk, but this is not a wish-list show. In Germany, when someone criticises Angela Merkel, no one intimidates journalists” – commented Marcin Tulicki.
