THOMASTON – Kathleen “Kathie” Blouin, 65, of Thomaston, devoted wife and mother, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Rita and Dana “Tex” Mitchell.
A graduate of Wolcott High, 1973, she married the love of her life, Jean-Guy Blouin, and spent 47 wonderful years raising their three daughters: Bridgette Keegan of Dexter, Maine, Danielle Blouin of Torrington, Melissa Blouin of Terryville. She was a loving grandmother to Wyatt and Brooklynn Keegan, and Weston Blouin-Lebeau.
She was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness for 33 years and loved being in the ministry and spending time with family and friends. She loved dancing and hosting parties at their home, as well as traveling and cruising, especially to Bermuda.
