the streets about knows as well. i mean, it s it s in some ways you know it s ka that is rightic to see the fight about the extreme bills but there is a part of me that feels like those fiemts might not last very long. i don t think the supreme court is going to go in that direction. instead what i think is a longer term problem is the chipping away at roe. as i m sure you know there is no affirmative right to reproductive justice. it s just implied. and so it s hard to protect. and it s happening in state after state. there are upward of 30 states that have imposed restrictions they don t look like alabama or mississippi or missouri. right. and again, i think that if you want to put on marching shoes you probably should put on marching shoes and go to your state capitol most states enacted these trap laws designed to limit the opportunities the women has to do reproductive
registering people to vote. these incredible, inspiring parkland students i don t usually wear bracelets, but i saw some of the families backstage trying to transform unspeakable grief into a better world. young veterans of iraq and afghanistan, record numbers of women who are running for office. you know we need more women. it s a movement of citizens who maybe never had much interest in politics, but they said this time it s different. this time it s too important to sit out. they re lacing up those marching shoes. they re grabbing a clip board

stepping you up, other voices fill the void. but in two months, we have a chance to restore some sanity in our politics. we have the chance to flip the house of representatives and make sure that real checks and balances are in balance. [ inaudible ] we re putting on our marching shoes, we will go out and start taking some clipboards out. and we ll start knocking on iie doors. and we ll start making some calls. we ll volunteer. we re going to talk to our family members. we re going to talk to folks who have been sitting on the couch being a little lazy when it comes to their responsibilities and duties as citizens.
