Victory in the Group 3 Premio Federico Tesio proved that the Italian-bred Tempesti (by Albert Dock) is the best of his generation. A year before, Tempesti had won the Tesio when it had been accorded Group 2 status, and the dark chestnut colt is credited with victory in eight of 13 starts.
