FORREST CITY, Ark. (KAIT) - An experimental station in St. Francis County will be closed March 1-6 to allow officials to do aerial hunts to reduce the number of feral hogs in the area.
According to a media release from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the University of Arkansas Pine Tree Experimental Station WDA will be closed to daytime public access to allow for the reductions.
The project will be done aerially, weather permitting.

The Lewes Public Library will present two image-rich art history lectures from American art historian Dr. Rena Tobey at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, and 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, via Zoom.
The Feb. 16 lecture, Coronavirus Edition: American Artists on the Town, features works from the mid-1800s to the Great Depression. They depict the joyful everyday moments people used to take for granted, such as eating out, shopping and dancing.
