Para Archery action resumes with 7th Fazza World Ranking – Dubai 2021 event

Some of the world’s best para archers will return to action when the 7th Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament- Dubai 2021 gets underway at the Dubai Club for People of Determination grounds here from Tuesday.
As many as 70 archers from 11 nations will compete in this year’s Championships which will also mark the return of Para Archery action after a year. Dubai had hosted the last Para Archery Championships – the 6th Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament in February 2020 before the Coronavirus Pandemic struck the world suspending or cancelling all sporting events.
Dubai to stage first international Para-archery event in 12 months Monday, 22 February 2021
Para-archers are set to compete on the international stage for the first time in 12 months when Dubai plays host to the Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament.
About 70 archers from 11 countries have travelled to the United Arab Emirates to compete in the event over the next four days.
The sixth edition of the Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament, held in February 2020, was the last international competition to be held before the coronavirus pandemic caused sporting events across the world to be postponed or cancelled.
Algeria, France, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and hosts United Arab Emirates will all be represented by archers.
