V-Lab and the Department of Labour have launched a joint venture to help seasonal workers start their own businesses on their return from Australia or New Zealand.
V-Lab President, Marc Morel, says this is through urban innovative support which saw them developing new apps for business and venturing out from simple town-based businesses to agriculture and fisheries.
Morel says now he has many committed applicants, however the next stage will see identification of the applicants and a selection will be made, once that is done they will be trained for three months then coached for six months by business coaches and finally they will be assessed and evaluated at the end of the 12 months.
