created a rich american fabric. because of what s happening in arizona, this could not be more timely. maria, in covering the census, what is the reaction that you have seen? were latinos willing to fill out the census, or were there a lot of misconceptions about the census and its purpose overall? absolutely. we have had a campaign for many months to educate people about the importance of the census, what a difference it s going to make in the communities of each person that counts and how important it is that people are not afraid to fill out that form, which is very simple out of fear that they might get reported or or deported to their countries because they are not people with documents. they are here already and we need to make sure each community gets the right amount of funds so they can operate correctly. it is very important. we have had a campaign at
