FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) A former Los Angeles Angels employee was convicted Thursday of providing Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs the drugs that led to his overdose death in Texas.
Dr. Richard Fries, who did not conduct the autopsy on Tyler Skaggs body but reviewed the one done by his predecessor and the toxicology report, testified Friday that Skaggs died of an overdose caused by the fentanyl in his system.
