From indie folk to pop, hip-hop and R&B, emo and punk, this month proves that the Centennial State continues to impress with its new music discovery.
Since its inception in 1950 as Bob Wills’ Ranch House, the Longhorn Ballroom has been Texas’s premier destination for some of the best live music in the country. Over the last several years, the Longhorn Ballroom fell on hard times, eventually landing in bankruptcy and was headed for demolition.
Marc Broussard, a locally loved singer-songwriter from Carencro, Louisiana just announced he will be taking his first album on tour. In a post on social media, he explains that this tour will be a thank you to everyone who has supported him over the past two decades. There isn't a better way to celebrate his first album turning 20 than playing 'Carencro' front to back on tour across the country. In the spirit of celebrating, the record is also being reissued on vinyl and is available for pre-order.
