American Rituals is a recently released seven-track collection of composer/bassist/vocalist Cheri Knight's wonderfully idiosyncratic takes on minimalism, repetition, and vocal layering. Fans of Pauline Oliveros, Steve Reich, and Laurie Anderson should take note.
