Construction on next leg of Wasson Way trail begins Wednesday
Work on phases four and five of the Wasson Way trail is set to start on Wednesday, according to the Cincinnati Department of Transportation and Engineering.
Crews will begin by clearing out downed trees and brush along a portion of trail in the northeastern edge of Ault Park in Mount Lookout, according to a release.
This leg of the project will stretch a mile and a half from the Marburg Avenue Bridge in Hyde Park to Old Red Bank Road in Fairfax, officials said.
The trail will travel over an out-of-service rail line to a railroad bridge in Ault Park and then through a wooded stretch of switchbacks in the park and to the Red Bank trail in Fairfax, officials added.
