Photo: Pixabay This week in Watford we have a property conversion in Sandringham Road, turning it into two flats, the removal of a dead tree in Hempstead Road and three new homes at The Crescent. A new outbuilding is proposed in Trout Rise, Loudwater, to contain a swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, and at Champneys in Wigginton there s an application to change three staff lodges into dwellings. In Ridgeway, Berkhamsted, there s a proposed demolition of an outbuilding, and extensions to form a new home and division of the plot. Also there are six new homes planned on the development site at Lock View in Wilstone, and changing a commercial site on land at the back of Trowley Hill Road, Flamstead to redevelop into two homes.

Photo: Pixabay Amongst the plans validated this week are a retrospective application for an extension in Watford, a change of opening hours for The Gossamers on the Central Meriden Estate and an application to store hazardous substances in Rickmansworth. Also of note is a change of use from a bakery to include a cafe and takeaway in Abbots Langley High Street, six new homes in place of the current garages behind 36-44 Tring Road, Wilstone and construction of two low-impact eco-homes in Rucklers Lane, Kings Langley.
