The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Maluti-a-Phofung Local Municipality (MaP) is concerned about the mismanagement of the water crisis affecting communities. The municipality has been plagued by severe water shortages for years, with no solution in sight. The crisis of water supply is apparently also muddied by Bloem Water and MaP Water being unable to agree on a working relationship. Bloem Water has been appointed by the Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation to spend R2 billion on water and sanitation in MaP, but as yet no reports on progress have been supplied.

Cournon-d Auvergne. Pédale d Or 2021 . Reportée de quelques semaines pour cause de Covid, une nouvelle édition de la désormais fameuse Pédale d Or réunissant motos oldies et cyclistes vintages s est déroulée par temps radieux entre les pourtant nombreuses giboulées de la mi-juin.
Comme il est de tradition, le départ a été donné depuis le Plan d Eau de Cournon, mise en jambes sur la bienvenue bande cyclable menant à Billom puis tours et détours dans les vertes contrées de la Toscane auvergnate. Un casse-croûte roboratif s est tenu à Badassat, tout près du calme village d Isserteaux, avant le retour en peloton rapide vers Cournon où de solides agapes attendaient coursiers et coursières (les plus vaillantes) au restaurant du Plan d Eauâ¦
