SRINAGAR: Two drug peddlers were arrested by police in the Ganderbal area. Officers from Police Post Shadipora at a checkpoint established at Sumbal Bridge, intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK07- 0744 with two persons on board. They have been identified as Shahnawaz Ahmad War and Manzoor Ahmad Raina both residents of Resin Kullan Ganderbal. During checking, officers were able to recover 300 grams of Charas from their possession. They have been arrested and shifted to Police Station where they remain in custody. Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused persons are involved in transportation/selling of contraband among the youth of the area.
