Four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers were martyred while six others were injured after terrorists ambushed them during a fencing activity at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the troops were moving for fencing activity along the border in the Manzakai sector in Balochistan’s Zhob when “terrorists from Afghanistan ambushed” them.
FC troops responded to the attack promptly, it said.

KARACHI: Four Pakistani soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack from Afghanistan while they were working on fencing the Pakistan-Afghan border in the restive Balochistan province on Wednesday, the Army said.
A team of paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) was targeted in Manzakai Sector located in the Zhob district of Balochistan province in the south-west of the country, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the military said in a statement.
Two terrorists and three Pakistan Army soldiers were killed in an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa s North Waziristan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations said Wednesday.
