4 FC Soldiers martyred in cross-border terrorist attack: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Four Frontier Constabulary (FC) Soldiers were martyred while six further received injuries in the firing by the terrorists from Afghanistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ISPR said that today during the fencing activity in the Manzakai Sector of Balochistan’s Zhob District along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border, terrorists from across Afghanistan ambushed the FC Troops moving for the fencing.
Resultantly, four FC Soldiers including Havaldar Noor Zaman, Sepoy Shakeel Abbas, Sepoy Ehsan Ullah, and Naik Sultan embraced shahadat.
In the attack, six FC Soldiers got injured who were evacuated to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta.

Four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers were martyred and six injured after a terrorist encounter near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border on Wednesday.
The military’s media wing, ISPR, said that “Today during fencing activity in Manzakai Sector, Distt Zhob, Balochistan along Pakistan – Afghanistan Border, Terrorists from across Afghanistan ambushed FC troops moving for fencing.”
Consequently four FC soldiers embraced martyrdom while six others got injured, the military’s media wing said, adding, “FC troops responded promptly”.
It said the injured are being shifted to the Combined Military Hospital, Quetta. Those martyred include Havaldar Noor Zaman, Sepoy Shakeel Abbas, Sepoy Ehsan Ullah and Naik Sultan.

Reacting to the incident, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that fencing would be completed at every cost.

KARACHI: Four Pakistani soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack from Afghanistan while they were working on fencing the Pakistan-Afghan border in the restive Balochistan province on Wednesday, the Army said.
A team of paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) was targeted in Manzakai Sector located in the Zhob district of Balochistan province in the south-west of the country, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the military said in a statement.
