The star has two children with Cates – 19-year-old twins Jakob Dylan and Naiia Rose Ulrich.
Hale in comparison was most recently starring as the lead in Kate Keene before The CW cancelled the series after one season.
Prior to starring in Katy Keene, Hale was best known for her part as Aria Montgomery in Pretty Little Liars.

Her role in the drama saw her playing a teenager although she was actually 20 at the time of the role.
Hale took acting and singing lessons as a child and then later moved to LA at the age of 15 to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
