Manx Gaelic Christmas songs workshop

2023-11-04 14:00 - Tar as goaill arrane ayns Gaelg! Come and sing in Manx! All are welcome to this FREE 45 minute Christmas song workshop on Saturday 4th November at 2pm, taking place at The George Pub in Castletown. Come and learn some lovely festive Christmas songs sung in Manx, while enjoying a cosy cup of tea or coffee. No prior knowledge of Manx is necessary as this workshop is aimed at complete beginners. While the workshop is primarily aimed at adults, children aged 7+ are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. Led by Ruth Keggin Gell, Manx Language Development Officer for Culture Vannin, this workshop is part of the Cooish Manx language festival, which is taking place between Wednesday 1st - Sunday 5th November.
