warren who you ve been covering on the trail so much. she s talking, as she always does, about our financial health and the health of the question and she sees storm clouds. that s right. there is a message there s another financial crisis coming. she s reminding her supporters she s one of the people who warned about the 2008 financial crisis. she said washington didn t listen so she s ringing the alarm bells again. she s pointing to a couple of things we re already aware, things like household debt going up, corporate debt going up she says that the manufacturing industry is in a recession and she says she has a plan to try to prevent it. what i think is interesting, even though she s packaging it as a new plan, these are proposals we ve heard from her throughout the year. i see this as a big political move. the fact she s been talking so much and leaning so heavily into
this economic message i think tells us something. whether economic message, manufacturing plan. just last week we saw her put out a new plan on wall street and private equity. she s clearly starting to make a big bet on wanting to emerge from this large field as the economy candidate on the chance that, you know, the economy doesn t actually help the president come next year. it s interesting, jonathan. i ve heard of democratic candidates in fundraisers with democrats getting hit hard on how anti-business they are sounding, which is it s not good for the party, certainly not for a general election. there s real heartburn among democratic establishment donors who don t like some of the populist tones they are hearing. but so far it s helping candidates like warren because it does appeal to a lot of rank and file. what is striking about this this messages people like the idea of having a plan. they don t even know all of the ins and outs of our plans, they just like the idea she ha

that threat given the current status of negotiations? i don t think that will be necessary. the language on emnenlt domain didn t wind up becoming law. it was taken out in conference. there should be enough money in the program under the laws that passed to keep them in the state. i was not a big fan of increasing the amounts. i really thought we had enough in the program to keep them hear. to keep the jobs here. so hopefully there will be enough to keep them here with what s passed. this is a story about corporate tax breaks. and the position that states have been put in to canada these programs and entertainment companies in their states and i m going to quote rob reich. he said 40 sear ago the most valuable resource came in the form of a manufacturing plan that couldn t just one day get up and move. manufacturing plan is relatively immobile. today the most valuable resource is the brain power that puts together huge deals and manages
