Twice postponed leading to the race not being held in 2020, the Boston Athletic Association announced on Tuesday with a cautious optimism that the 125th edition of the Boston Marathon will be held on Oct. 11.
Information including field size, registration dates, safety measures and protocols and participant requirements is not yet available. A virtual option, similar to last year s event, will also be offered.
