Die österreichische Eishockey-Nationalmannschaft hat sich mit einem Sieg vom Olympia-Qualifikationsturnier in Bratislava verabschiedet. Die ÖEHV-Auswahl besiegte am Sonntag Polen mit 4:1 (2:1,1:0,1:0) und beendete damit das Turnier auf Rang drei. Matchwinner war Brian Lebler mit einem Triplepack, der Stürmer der Black Wings Linz hat damit fünf Tore in den drei Turnierpartien erzielt.
