MANSON When a blizzard blasted northern Iowa right before Christmas 2022, it unleashed the kind of weather that can spell trouble for livestock producers
Six graduating high school seniors have received scholarships from The Messenger to attend Iowa Central Community College.
”The Messenger and its employees are proud of our ongoing relationship with Iowa Central Community College,” said Terry Christensen, the publisher of the newspaper. ”The annual scholarship program is such a wonderful opportunity to reward students in our region.”
Here’s an introduction to the scholarship winners.
Courtney Colshan
Colshan, of Manson, will graduate from Manson Northwest Webster High School. She is the daughter of John and Michelle Colshan.
In high school, she was a member of the drill team, marching band, color guard, pep band, concert band, and National Honor Society. She was the drill team captain and a member of the All Iowa Honor Dance Team.
