Penelope Keith Hatches a Plan to Foil Peter Bowles Plans on To the Manor Born

Actress Penelope Keith appears on the ‘The Honours List’ episode of the British sitcom, ‘To the Manor Born.’ Sometimes it takes drastic circumstances for seemingly diverse people to accept others for who they are, and embrace the true dynamic between them. That’s certainly the case for the distinctly different protagonists of the British sitcom, ‘To the Manor Born,’ which was created and written by by Peter Spence. The popular television show follows actress Penelope Keith’s character, Audrey fforbes-Hamilton, an upper-class woman who, upon the death of her husband, has to move out of her beloved manor house to the estate’s old lodge. Looking back on on a topsy turvy 2020 - and board games | St Albans & Harpenden Review

Mr Topsy-Turvy would have felt right at home during 2020! Most recently, I played Oberon in a Globe production of Dream, giving a nice bit of circularity to a career that has had its ups and downs.

Why there s comfort and joy in watching repeats at Christmas

Zoom calls can be very revealing. On last Monday s Ireland AM, Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan appeared from her flat in London to discuss the new Netflix show, Bridgerton. The Galway-born actress had some nicely festive decorations on her mantelpiece, and a trim little Christmas tree tastefully decorated, together with a picture of David Bowie on the wall. The day before, on the same programme, Chris de Burgh had been interviewed against a wall festooned with gold records - his own, presumably - shining more brightly than the sun. Every day must be like Christmas in the De Burgh household with that much bling on constant display.
