The 42nd Pan-Australian Congress of the Cretan Federation of Australia and New Zealand held in Brisbane, brought together over 300 delegates, most of whom were second and third-generation Greek Australians.
The second and third generation Greek children moved the community with their performances at events for 157th anniversary of the Holocaust of the Arkadi Monastery.
The Cretan Federation of Australia and New Zealand (CFANZ) have organised a two-week trip for 20 of their youth to explore the homeland, chiefly the island from which they hail from.
