A Delhi court on Tuesday committed the Kanjhawala case to the Court of Sessions for further proceedings.The case stems from an incident, in which a 20-year-old woman was killed on the intervening night of December 31 and January 1 in the .
"The accused persons had ample opportunities to save the victim but they intentionally and knowingly dragged her with the car so that she is killed," Delhi police said in the charge sheet.
The incident took place in the early hours of January 1. Singh was killed after her scooter was hit by the car and was later dragged for 10-12 km from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala before the occupants of the car abandoned her body.
