Dauphin and Ste. Rose RCMP responded to a report of a kidnapping on the Ebb and Flow First Nation Thursday afternoon (May 20).
It’s alleged a 44-year-old Winnipeg woman had been held against her will and was sexually assaulted over a period of time at a home on the reserve.
RCMP say she managed to leave the residence was taken to hospital by Emergency Medical Services.
The accused, 54-year-old Blaine Lindsay Malcolm, of the Ebb and Flow First Nation, made his first court appearance in Dauphin today (Tues) on charges of Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, Sexual Assault, Assault, Administer Noxious Substance and Uttering Threats.
